Recently, I had the privilege of photographing this remarkable young lady whose presence and achievements truly inspired me. From the moment we met at the beautiful Minnesota Landscape Arboretum (affectionately called "The Arb"), Izzy's energy was palpable. A senior with a penchant for pushing her own boundaries and embracing challenges, this lovely lady seamlessly juggles multiple roles – a cross country enthusiast, a dedicated wrestler, and a multi-talented scholar with inborn math aficionado status! This beauty has her sights on the horizon, and no one is going to slow her down.

A Glimpse into the Portrait Session

With a breadth of wardrobe options in hand, Izzy, her mother, and I discussed strategy for what wardrobe selections would best complement the scenes she wanted to ensure were a part of her senior portrait experience.

From scene to scene we were able to incorporate this future Air Force Cadet's radiance whether she donned her sports gear, a more formal dress, or a more casual look with jeans and cowboy boots. From serene settings, to stone facades, to beautiful sunlight meadows, determination to capture all the Arboretum had to offer was another goal that was reached in this Carver County senior portraits.
